The full Reality trailer for HBO Films’ upcoming thriller drama has been released. Slated to premiere on HBO and Max on May 29, the film stars Euphoria breakout Sydney Sweeney as real-life whistleblower Reality Winner
The video highlights the hours-long interrogation of former US Air Force member and NSA translator Reality Winner by two FBI agents over her involvement in the leak of a classified report concerning Russia’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Who’s Involved in Reality?
Based on Tina Satter’s play Is This A Room, Reality is directed by Satter from a screenplay written by Satter and James Paul Dallas. The film stars Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney, Josh Hamilton, and Marchánt Davis.
“On June 3, 2017, 25-year-old former American intelligence specialist Reality Winner is confronted by FBI agents arriving at her home to question her suspected role in the mishandling of classified information,” reads the logline. “Based on true events, the film’s dialogue is directly from the transcript of their tense and transfixing conversation.
Reality is executive produced by Satter, Ellyn Daniels, Will O’Connor, Daniel Ginsberg, Andrew Beck, Bill Way, Elliott Whitton, Eva Maria Daniells, Philipp Engelhorn, and Caitlin Gold. Producers are Noah Stahl, Brad Becker-Parton, Riva Marker, and Greg Nobile.
