ComingSoon is excited to debut the exclusive trailer for the upcoming pandemic comedy film Little Jar, which is set to make its premiere at the Austin Film Festival next week on October 28, 2022.

“Ainsley (Kelsey Gunn) is a misanthrope who hates people but when she suddenly finds herself in isolation with no one to talk to, she realizes how much she actually misses connection,” says the synopsis. “Enter Ulysses, a dead mouse in a jar. With a little bit of loneliness, a pinch of imagination, and a mouse-sized tuxedo, Ulysses becomes her training wheels in this newly discovered world of friendship.”

Little Jar was written during the earlier days of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, by couple cinematographer Dominic López and actress Kelsey Gunn, one of the founding members of the internet comedy troupe 5 Second Films. The film was co-written, co-produced, and directed by Dominic, with Kelsey acting as co-writer, co-producer, and star in the film.

No official release information has been revealed for Little Jar as of yet, but the film will premiere for competition at the Austin Film Festival next week.
